Top Gear New Series

Love the sight gag of the Stig photocopying his helmet in the background while they were trying to get insurance...

(and no, not offended by the Scottish restaurant thing, but no doubt the Daily Record will complain tomorrow)

Missed the first 10 minutes, thinking it was recording, but it wasn't... So I guess I'm watching that on iPlayer in the morning.

Clarkson made another truckers-and-prostitutes reference though. Time for Middle England to dust off their BBC TV Centre speed-dial buttons...

Time for The Mail to get the typewriters going overtime to print up all their stirred up complaints.

Why go throught eh bother of using the typewriters when they can just fire up Word* and select "BBC Complaints Template #347". Easy money. :bolian:

I thought since their opinion of the public's morals are so outdated their equipment must be too.
Do you work for the BBC now?

Hard to tell, given that he did it this time in the context of winding up a rival paper to them- they might actually like that.

It's Word 2.0, if that helps. :bolian:

It made me smile in a few places loved the bit with the stig and the photo coper and the pictures on the desk.
But picking on James and making him come last is starting to get old.

You're only saying that because, like those teenagers, you fancy him. :p
I am a little old for all that i am 27 this year:(
I thought Hammond is the top gear totty:p
You think at 27 you're too old for fancying someone? Damn better get on with finding a girlfriend because I'm 27 in a couple of months too.

Hammond was killed to death when he hit his car into another car and i am not sure why James cut his penis off.
Although i have notice James never sits with his legs together so maybe it was in the way?
Just re watched that bit on iplayer he was going to cut his penis off because girls get cheaper car insurance.
There's a top gear top tip for you.

Someone of FG posted a list of the items that was on there desk i did not spot then all.
- picture of Will Young
- picture of the Queen
- picture of a cow
- calendar of dogs
- model car and caravan
- cut out of the stig
- airsoft gun
- handheld vacuum cleaner (james!)
- model of the red barron's last aircraft (james!)
- model Messerschmidt
- box of tools(?) (james)
- teeth whitening kit
And in the background gold bullian from the stunt they could not afford to do.

Picking on James will never get old. And he's won quite a lot of the challenges of late. Certainly more than Hammond has in the last 3 series or so.

I just love how they deliberately say controversial things just to whip up a tabloid storm, and make sure never to apologise for any of it.
