And another piece of the puzzle falls into place
Enough with the deltas already! It’s not even the correct one for that time period.
Star Trek: Picard is now also on the IMDB Page. That cements it.
IMDB can be edited by fans ... So no, IMDB is just like Wikipedia: great resource with a big warning sign
That's funny as hell.
This confirms it:
Say Hello to 'Star Trek: Picard'
Sir Patrick Stewart's upcoming 'Trek' show title and logo announced at CBS upfronts.
Star Trek: Picard is the official title of the upcoming CBS All Access series starring Patrick Stewart, it was revealed this afternoon at the CBS upfront presentation for advertisers in New York City. The show’s logo was also displayed for the very first time.
Also TOS style font for "Star Trek".
Not the most creative title, but to the point.
Yes it is. It's solid, the two bottom points are mostly level, and the right side is thicker than it is in most previous versions. The only other one meeting all that is the one from in VOY/Nemesis, the latest Prime version seen. Or did you expect them to recreate the angular one from All Good Things?
I am wondering how much AGT push back/expectations we are going to see.
More than we can presently imagine, sadly.
Since it officially has a title, when does the show get its own forum here?
I think it's more they couldn't think of anything better so just went with what works.
They should have gone with "The Picard show"!
Quite honestly, finding a good title is damn difficult. "Star Trek: Picard" is okay.
Certainly better than the rumored "Star Trek: Destiny", and more descriptive than something generic like "Final Frontier", "New Voyages", "The After Next Generation"... And Americans wouldn't be sure how to pronounce "Star Trek: Jean Luc" , so there goes that Logan analogy....
I don't know... "logbooks of a legend?" "The continuing journeys of Jean Luc Crusher"? "ST:JLP"?
It's a bit of a thud in an empty room but at least it's not "Star Trek: Fred"
"All Good Things Must Spin-Off"
I'm fine with the title. Like others have say, everyone was going to call it "The Picard Show" anyway.
I think that's how That '70s Show got its name. Everyone kept calling it that, in-development, so path of least resistance.
Separate names with a comma.
