Oh shit! I called it! I fucking called it! I am totally taking my shirt off and rubbing my nipples clockwise over this!Disco's title wasn't revealed until nine months after the series was first announced. So expect a title for the Picard Show to be revealed around May 2019.
Pics or it didn't happen.Oh shit! I called it! I fucking called it! I am totally taking my shirt off and rubbing my nipples clockwise over this!
And Benedict Cumberbatch isn't...They lied then. They said it wouldn't be called Star Trek: Picard, but I'm glad they went with it.

I vote for PIC. Just becauseSTP, PIC or PCD?
Also, it might have occurred to them that no other title had as much shelf appeal in the store. They might have just changed their minds. Wouldn't be the first time a working title ended up being the final title even if that wasn't the plan in the beginning.
"You know, everybody is calling it PICARD anyway, maybe we should just go with that?"
Years ago, a friend of mine edited a book that was originally labeled "Untitled Alien Sex Anthology," with the idea being that they'd come up with a better title eventually. But then people got into the habit of calling it "the Alien Sex book" so, in the end, it was published as . . . ALIEN SEX.
Could be similar story here.
If I recall correctly, "Deep Space Nine" was originally intended as a placeholder title as well. They might have just changed their minds. Wouldn't be the first time a working title ended up being the final title even if that wasn't the plan in the beginning.
