Star Trek : In The Name of Picard
Yeah it's much more fun guessing what it will be.
Maybe it's just Picard. stylised like Alien:
P I C A R D
Star Trek: You Can't Kill It With A Stick
So it's official!
Finally a name!
STP, PIC or PCD?
PIC for purists, PCD for the post-modernists, and STP for the anarchists.
Very likely going to be PCD going by the other official short names that are used.Unless there is some issue with it that I'm not picking up on.
Once upon a time I was flying at warp
Now I'm only flying apart
Nothing I can say
A total eclipse of Picard
Oh shit! I called it! I fucking called it! I am totally taking my shirt off and rubbing my nipples clockwise over this!
They lied then. They said it wouldn't be called Star Trek: Picard, but I'm glad they went with it.
Hmm - maybe we could just abbreviate it to ARD.
Pics or it didn't happen.
And Benedict Cumberbatch isn't...
They might have just changed their minds. Wouldn't be the first time a working title ended up being the final title even if that wasn't the plan in the beginning.
"You know, everybody is calling it PICARD anyway, maybe we should just go with that?"
Years ago, a friend of mine edited a book that was originally labeled "Untitled Alien Sex Anthology," with the idea being that they'd come up with a better title eventually. But then people got into the habit of calling it "the Alien Sex book" so, in the end, it was published as . . . ALIEN SEX.
Could be similar story here.
I vote for PIC. Just because
All the imagination I expected from CBS.
Also, it might have occurred to them that no other title had as much shelf appeal in the store.
If I recall correctly, "Deep Space Nine" was originally intended as a placeholder title as well.
Separate names with a comma.
