Tiny Trek Adventures (ongoing comic)

Cool, looks like an old school blockade runner :)

Absolutely is. This is that 'new-type' they'd been talking about since the blockade runner's supposed to be TMP era anyway. This is a much older molder I built, like 2 years ago now? Before I started Blender and I was still at my old job so it must be 3 years. I started to update it but I just haven't finished. Too much going on.

Is "NGC 9744" from the FASA books?
(Yes, I fiddle with SIMBAD and looked up the New General Catalogue on Wikipedia.)

It isn't an exact match as the FASA version has rounder nacelles but overall configuration appears the same. I used to have several game pieces from the FASA Starship Combat Simulator board game that I played back around high school so I recognized the layout almost immediately. Unfortunately, I've moved a couple of times and this is what remains of my playing pieces :(

It isn't. I looked up nebula registries through current astronomy catalogs and then just upped it by a bunch of numbers. You know, scientific like ;)

That's too bad. =(

Yeah mine's a mixture of a bunch of the models they had, different drawings pulled from their sourcebooks (NONE of the Blockade runner drawings in the book are quite the same) and went with something I thought looked decent. It's woefully under-detailed for what I'm currently doing but it is at least something they could build for an enemy ship of the week really cheaply on a 60s sci-fi budget ;)

Your version of the Wanderer class is really sweet. :mallory::D:techman: And yeah, it's a really mean little pirate ship. :mallory:

I love "The Triangle" concept they had.

I did too. That's where all this is going to be set with some minor changes and additions as this goes on.

Thank you! Yes it is. And definitely customized for the pirates over the 'standard' Wanderer. ;)

I keep thinking that the Nimbus system from TFF should be in the Triangle region, rather than along the coreward side of the Federation-Romulan border.

It absolutely is on the map I'm using. It's much closer to the 'southern' end of the map. I mean it didn't exist when FASA did the Triangle but a bunch of people have been using the Triangle in the newer Star Trek Adventures RPG and n3aak over on reddit updated the map for their campaign. I've dialed a few things back closer to the FASA setting (and even prior since it was in the 2280s) as they updated the starbases to what it would be in the TNG era from what I can see.

Here's their map https://i.redd.it/yts92mqvaoy21.png

I'm thinking there's a way to rationalise this in concert with the Gaia Mission database. Kevin Jardine (at GalaxyMap.org) and Jed Whitten (hygmap.space) might be of some help with that.

A few parsecs above the galactic plane, boundaries look one way, sloping towards FASA’s lower down

And somewhere either up or down from the plane, the UFP territory goes over the Klingon and Romulan territory to have a way to get to the other side of the Klingon borders for that rather large chunk of space they have claimed for the UFP. At lest according to those giant maps that are and aren't canon at the same time. lol

I think they understand each other perfectly. Next, they're going to come to an agreement. They''ll just agree to disagree.

Whisky or Romulan ale? Nah. Classy ladies like a nice Burgundy wine. Maybe they'll find common ground over a glass or ten.
