So, they're giving Thundercats the "Teen Titans Go" treatment. Ugh.Cartoon Network is having another attempt at Thundercats

IIRC, Teen Titans Go is one of Cartoon Network's most successful shows, so I can't say I'm surprised they went this route with Thundercats. And given what's on CN these days, anything outside of its Adult Swim/Toonami block is bound to be a comedy of some kind, IMO...So, they're giving Thundercats the "Teen Titans Go" treatment. Ugh.
I don't have 3hrs. I barely get that free time for a movie here/there.There's a three hour interview that talks about what was planned for future seasons of Thundercats 2011 and what went wrong with the series.

It's not made for you. It's made for children. And that is apparently a popular art style for children's shows these days.That...
Looked...
Terrible.
When somebody turns in what I assume was a demo pitch, like that, that's when a responsible network executive should laugh and say, "No thanks."
I find it insulting as a fan of the original and insulting as somebody enjoys comedy.
This is a misstep.
It's not made for you.

But it's not designed for this form of crazy comedy IMO.

Be nice if someone with more time to kill just made a few bullet point highlights contained in this lengthy interview.
Nah, Orko from He-Man preceded him by a couple of years. Then again, one can site earlier and earlier examples....Snarf...he's the original Jar-Jar Binks.
