Saving "THE SWORD OF KAHLESS".

I love this. Great adventure, and having Kor around is ALWAYS a win.

Stroke of genius to make the sword have NO mystical or technobabble properties that make Kor and Worf act how they do. It's just a religious icon, and we have a whole history of how religious icons get twisted for the worse of humanity.

Great story and message.

Accession is an excellent way of making Sisko accept his role as the Emissary quicker.

My final vote for the season... all 3 are very, very good episodes.

But I have to save "RULES OF ENGAGEMENT" because of the unique way the witnesses were giving their testimony and, more importantly, Sisko's leadership lessons at the end.

Never cared for delving to the Sontarans Jem Ha'Dar and their liquid cocaine habit or whatever it is, it's cod drama. Not that I'm opinionated or anything...

And "HIPPOCRATIC OATH" wins season 4.

This might be a record for going through a season... 4 hours 12 minutes. (Even with the short seasons of the current era, I don't think they move that quickly.) This season is just excellent!

“The Muse". Oh my god, how much I hated that episode. Divided into Plot A and Plot B, and both are equally terrible and equally boring. Lwaxana Troi — all her episodes on DS9 were bad. I don’t like her as a character in general. The other one with the creepy vampire lady was just absurd on so many levels, and boring as well. What made this episode worse is that it came after yet another boring Mirror Universe episode, which by itself I could argue could be on the worst-of-season-4 list.

It says a lot of DS9 that it was still hard to pick out a story to leave behind right up to the end of the game.

I actually liked Lwaxana more in DS9 than in TNG.
