What's wrong with that? Clearly, the flat terraced areas on top of saucer are for the infinity pools and shuffleboard courts.

So say what you will about the Church design and the Excalibur class from Star Trek Online, but nothing can be as bad as the horror that is the Planet of the Titans crap design, which is more Star Wars than any of Abrams stuff.

Don't blame the monkey that is doing his job. Blame the person who hired the monkey to do the job in the first place as he knows that he has infact, employed a monkey.
Besides, I like the design. It's not the best one I've seen, but as it's set in the future and we do not know what ships are designed like, I can accept that design for a ship.

Besides, if he OK'd a turkey on wheels, he might have had to pay a royalty to Tom Robbins for the idea.
I don't think it's ugly, necessarily, I just don't think it looks like the Enterprise. I'd be fine with it as some other ship, preferably one in the Next Generation time-frame.Either way their baby is butt ugly
