Things You Missed The First Few Times

Didn't TNG get some cool stuff (besides the shuttlecraft) after TFF and TUC?

I just noticed that while the TNG corridors were redressed for TUC, including the addition of pipes in the ceiling, etc; that the corridor doors (sickbay for example) were not redressed to match the bridge doors. (Not that its visible for more than 2 seconds in the movie :D)

As I recall, engineering wasn't re-dressed either.

This is old news to most folks but new to me: In "The Omega Glory," when Sulu and the Away Team rescue Kirk and Co., I really hope McCoy told the Away Team to stay on the planet for a few hours so that they get immunized.

Blew my mind when I read that there was no upstairs part of the promenade on DS9 until season 2!!

Trek TOS had landing parties, not Away Teams! :brickwall:

But they never brought music or snacks or games...! Not much of a party, I'd say.

after watching the entire series of Voyager, I forgot Robert Picardo corrected his eyes. Now going back it's obvious.

... when Kirk opens the movie by standing right in front of the viewscreen during his voiceover, that the stars within were actually a practical effect.
Interesting - I will look out for that next time.
It may have even been the first time in STAR TREK's history this was used, but of course, it pretty much became standard procedure when TNG came around. Not for the viewscreen as much as out the windows, generally.

I'm just gonna leave this right here... (link)

It took a few viewings of The Naked Now before I noticed the modified high backed TOS Burke chair just to the left of the shower where LaForge found the frozen mannequin. There were a few unmodified Burke-type chairs in the adjoining room.

Re-watching Voyager I'm finding myself noticing the change in the character's hair of all things. Despite being female I'm a bit fashion blind so things like this normally go right past me (plus the fact on the original watch there could be years between changes). Janeways bun/ponytail short cut, B'elanna's original wear it high to show off the forehead to let's modify it to frame her face and show off how pretty she really is....even Tom's hair seems to change color. He's blond. No he's not. He's blond again.

And I know they wrapped up seven's hair to reflect severity but she just looked so pretty and comfortable when she wore it loose and flowing.
