See I'm just wondering if everyone has read a leaked script I'm unaware of, otherwise some people are being pretty damn gloomy based on what amounts to a handful of photos and a few seconds of poorly recorded on-set audio. And I'm talking about GallifreyBase as well as here, before anyone starts.

The chances of what we've heard being the takes that turn up in any final edit are pretty slim, that's just the nature of the medium. Also, has it occured to anyone that Nick Briggs might just be taking the piss between set ups?.

Not quite. Human scientists recover two Daleks while settling on a new colony (on a planet called Vulcan!) and attempts to reactive them. Once reactivated, the Daleks plays dumb while secretly building a new army and the silly scientists ignore The Doctor's pleas.

"Evil of the Daleks." The Daleks try to locate the "Human Factor," believing that, if the unique nature of humanity can be added to Daleks, then the Daleks can conquer the universe. Three Daleks are given the Human Factor, and they become child-like, until they age mentally and are able to blend into Dalek society on Skaro.

You could trace the Daleks' need for genetic purity back to this story; when the Human Factor spreads in Dalek society, the Daleks erupt into a civil war that devastates Skaro. (The second Doctor calls it "the final end.")

Not me, I'm totally pumped for the final Tennant stories. But I'm also very excited about the Eleventh Doctor.

I was feeling like that, especially after PotD, but having seen the trailer for Waters of Mars I still kinda looking forward to the last few Tennants. I really can't wait for 11 to start though!

According to people at GallifreyBase, apparently they were taken down due to the negative reaction some of the clips got (primarily the "I AM the Doctor, and you are the DAAAAA (stomp) LEKS!" one). TBH, I didn't think they were particularly bad, but the "I hate the new guy!" machine is in full swing, before in a few years time everyone is crying about the departure of Matt Smith and similarly running down the new one. It's a rite of passage all new Doctors go through in the internet era.
