They're Baaaaaack [SPOILERS]

Here's something

A graphic novel that was canceled

1917: The Great War is at its fiercest and most terrible. But things are about to get even worse. Armaments manufacturer Lord Hellcombe has a new secret weapon he believes will win the war. But when the Doctor witnesses the final demonstration he begins to realize how much danger everyone is in: Lord Hellcombe claims to have invented the Dalek! Except, of course, that nothing is quite what it seems. Now, the Doctor and his new friends must draw on every type of early 20th century technology and every element of human ingenuity and bravery if they are to discover the truth - and survive - to prevent the entire Western Front of World War One from becoming part of The Dalek Project!

Richards said: "We've been keen to move into this area for a long time, and it's taken a lot of planning and preparation." He added, "The graphic novel format lends itself to storytelling on an epic scale

I'm thinking some Dalek remains from "Daleks in Manhattan" were repaired

I hope so. I keep thinking to myself "I wish they wouldn't use the Dalek's", but then it dawns on me - this is Moffat, and so far I've loved all the episodes he's made, so maybe this isn't all what it seems :).

Yeah I guess so, I was sort of hoping they would return but as a clause, someone else is controlling them (or just one or two of the Daleks).

God, tomorrow I'm taking my friend back to university, and guess where she goes? Cardiff. I'm hoping lady luck is still on my side and I manage to see, maybe even meet some of the cast :D. We're gunna go to Cardiff Bay, and just go around for hours, checking out the scene.

Don't hold your breath - I've been here for 5 years, 4 in uni, and have not once seen any filming! You'll have fun going around the city centre and the Bay seeing a lot of familiar places though!

I'm not surprised, but I'm fairly certain we already knew that they were coming back.

However, if their appreance is anything like canceled graphic synopsis that Samurai8472 posted, then their return will be very interesting. Either way, I want only a few Daleks instead of a huge hoard.

i wouldn't mind seeing a deabate between Hitler and a dalek.

"We are the MASTER RACE!"

"No, we are the MASTER RACE!"

"No, we are the MASTER RACE!"

"No, we are the MASTER RACE!"

"No, we are the MASTER RACE!"

"No, we are the MASTER RACE!"

"No, we are the MASTER RACE!"

"No, we are the MASTER RACE!"

"No, we are the MASTER RACE!"

"No, we are the MASTER RACE!"

"No, we are the MASTER RACE!"

"No, we are the MASTER RACE!"

And then they make out.

Was having coffee down the Bay last Saturday and saw both Matt Smith and Karen Gillan walk by together. Both looking very nice. :)

I can handle more Daleks, but I can't handle more Davros.

It's actually good to see them with out pappa holding their hand through the worst of it.

I would not say I'm sick of the Daleks, just sick of how they've been used recentally. Specifically of how we always have the Doctor facing a massive army of Daleks, only to defeat them and we're supposed to believe that with this defeat the Daleks are wiped out for good.

The Daleks will always be back. We know this. Showing them supposedly being "wiped out" repeatedly does get tiresome, as does I would imagine trying to come up with an excuse for why they Daleks have survived their exinction. Avoid this issue, don't eterminate the Daleks for good. Defeat them, yes, but leave their potential return open, since a return is inevitable anyway.

The genie got back in the bottle. 1975 though 1996 you couldn't really call the daleks much but understudies and henchmen extras... But the genie is out again, and it might take them another 20 years to stuff him back into his bottle.

of course, you have to wonder what cyber conditioning would do to Davros?

It'd all end up like the end of the dark Crystal.

Agreed. If this was just another Davies/10th Doctor Dalek story, I'd be rolling my eyes big time, but now with this new combo of Moffat and Smith, somehow everything feels a bit new and exciting again.

Even the damn Daleks. :D
