Hum, in a modern TZ film, you couldn't get banished to the cornfield, since it's been cut down for stupid ethinol additives. You'd get banished to the kale farm, which is far far worse.

Ben Stiller is eyeing bringing back The Twilight Zone to the big screen.

They keep trying to bring back "The Twilight Zone" but none of the attempts have ever surprised the 80's "Twilight Zone" tv show, which wasn't as good as the original of course but still decent. I did like the old movie though despite all the sad things connected to it.

That last Twilight Zone revival had a couple of standout episodes in 'Meet in the Middle' and 'Try, Try' and a whole bunch of mediocre to awful episodes.
