The unnecessary reboot/remake of the week thread

Time to do a movie about the Titanic's sister ship the HMHS Britannic. Sank in 1916 after hitting a mine in WW I. Then you finish the trilogy by telling the story of the Olympic.

That's what I've been saying for the past two pages.

Yerp, my phone auto corrected to that and I didn't catch it.. I fixed it. I even researched it a little before I posted. Don'tcha luv AI?

That's cause AI always knows best! ;)

I feel like Jim Carrey's an odd choice for this one. I feel like Wiliam H. Macy has a much better likeness to George. And they should absolutely cast Danny Devito as Mr Spacely.

^Huh? It predates the 1990's by 3 decades. It came out in the 1960's. So much of what inspired The Jetsons was the 60's outlook on the future. I assume you mean the animated movie rather than the TV series.

Yes, I did mean the animated film from 1990.

I figured. I do wonder what took so long for them to make a live-action movie though. I always preferred The Jetsons to the Flinstones.

"Back in my day we DROVE our cars on the ground, and we liked it!"

Or Back in my Day, we literally ran our cars with our feet... They were so sore by the end of the day that there was nothing we could Yabba Dabba Do about it!

Yarggh, take that clouds! :D

We did have a car in the 80's that we had used so much that the salt during the winter had caused the underneath to corrode and fall apart and near the end of its life you could see the pavement underneath as you drove. Wouldn't pass inspection these days.
