Spoilers The Strange New Worlds Starship Thread™

Never thought I would see Macross World intersect with official Star Trek, lol!
The artist who modeled the ships from the season 3 opening titles, W.M. Cheng, has posted some clear renders on another forum. It looks like an upside-down version of the salvaged fake ship from the season two premiere is a real design, so we can all pretend that this real ship is the one that was at the starbase, and not the very similar looking fake ship built from salvaged parts.

My condolences to The Wormhole with regards to the retro-Nebula. :p

Weird as hell seeing a proper Discovery-type Crossfield in the background. Mildly impressed they used the era-specific version and not the 31st century floating nacelles version.
And it's far enough away that I can maintain my head-canon that Discovery and Glenn were heavily modified for the spore drive, and a stock Crossfield would look more like the first VFX team's model and/or the ComiCon teaser version. Maybe these ships got upgraded with the long nacelles, but don't have the spinny saucers with the gaps.

The Freighter-class and Nebula-class starships share the registry number NCC-0711. Can anyone make out their names?
(The reuse of the reg isn't an issue for me because Admiral Cornwell mentioned Starfleet has thousands of ships but the reges are NCC-1XXX, so they gotta see duplication.)

Looks like the Macrossfield doesn't have any labelling.

So it looks like there are only three new ships in the credits: The ‘freighter’ type, the ‘Nebula’ type and the ‘False Federation’ type. All other ships seen in the actual episode are either ships used previously, some DSC ships with round nacelles, and the ‘FASA Larson’ type which appears to be new.

Then they keep making a hella-lotta of these mistakes with the same "fake" ships. Why would they go to all the trouble to making a brand new model, put a bunch of them in a scene that's going to be in every episode intro for the entire season and then say "oops!" I can see where putting the fake Klingon-built non-Crossfield in the starbase dock might have been a accidental, but sorry, not this time.

Nope. Not buyin' it...

The VFX supervisor was not involved with the creation of the title sequence, I’ve been over this.

The title sequence was made by an outside vendor with no oversight

He talked about it on his social media

He did say he may try and get the other two new designs into an actual episode in season 5 however
