Spoilers The Strange New Worlds Starship Thread™

Aboard the NCC-1279, the transponder was on deck 13. M'Benga and Chapel escaped from that deck by dropping to the deck below, which would be deck 14. They were then blown away from the ship by explosive decompression, and we see them flying above a nacelle. If someone can draw a picture of the ship from the top, and chart what is known of their trajectory, we might get an idea of where the transponder might be located and determined if they were in the primary or secondary hull.

What has caught my attention is the registry of the Farragut-type starship on the nacelle. Is that the USS Farragut registry?
And the Crossfield-Like docked at Starbase 1 had the same registry as the one the Klingons had.

They probably just reused the existing ship models.

Edit:
Wait a second, the Farragut had no registry number on its nacelles in Season 1, so that is an altered (fixed) model.

It matches how it appears in STO complete with black striping and white text. and STO probably had access to the concept art so.

Who is Dave Blass's counterpart as production designer on the SNW team, anyway? I want to know whose Twitter account to monitor for authorial intent.
The D was shown as the D on the Titan's display even though it was just the saucer with the Syracuse engine section,
so whatever transmitter sends IDs is probably in the saucer
Well, to continue that spoiler point
I see the logic in your assumption, but I also point out that Geordi and his museum team had been working on the repaired Enterprise-D for some time, so it is possible that by the time of the Borg crisis, they had already switched over the computer components in the Syracuse's cannibalized engineering hull per Starfleet protocol of ID standards.

which is the same registry as the one the Klingons had. They just reused the same CG asset.
No.. no... no, the Klingon and Starfleet conspirators used a known/valid registry number of a Crossfield class ship on their cobbled together ship. After all they needed to make sure they Klingon High Council would believe that Starfleet reneged on the treaty. ;)

Not like they have oh.. 8 other ship classes from discovery to use..

Does it seem like the Enterprise hull isn't the Silver Metalic from Disco anymore? more like the grey from Tos?

After the Section 31 battle, Enterprise was pretty screwed up. She had been under refit for a few months when SNW started.

That being said, the lighting is different this season, so she looks more gray.

It's on the top pod you can see it in a few shots.
Is there room in that short porch for that pod?
I'm going with a Franken ship and not a crossfield propper For now.. Don't want to accept that they'd take a saucer and toss the rest For the Disco.
Unless it shows up latter, then disco is the Franken ship..

 We're not "supposed" to see such things. When will they learn?
Can't believe they f-ed it up so bad. STAR TREK is ruined.
It's that damned HD quality. Should have been made in 1960's era SD.
