Did they? Or did they just change from transparent to solid? There is no 'tunnel' in the SNW version, they moved the bridge up.

That blastshield or whatever is only in place in a few scenes, most other shots you can see the window.Did they? Or did they just change from transparent to solid?
Unfortunately not. Check out multiple shots of the exterior, you see a long, goofy and segmented-with-lights tunnel. And compare with the Farragut, whose bridge was moved forward. There is no 'tunnel' in the SNW version, they moved the bridge up.
Too late.Leave the bridge module as it was in TOS.
Yes I corrected myself in the post above yours.Unfortunately not. Check out multiple shots of the exterior, you see a long, goofy and segmented-with-lights tunnel. And compare with the Farragut, whose bridge was moved forward.
I kinda like the more streamlined approach.Leave the bridge module as it was in TOS.
Precisely so.TOS size was also never canon, outside of an art mistake/easter egg in DSC 2x02.
If they really want to make it match TOS at the end of the series, they'll change the design but keep it at roughly the same length as the SNW one.
I agree.at this point if you are still expecting the Discoprise to turn into the TOS Enterprise by the end of the series I think you are gonna be really disappointed.
If anyone was still entertaining the notion that the Enterprise in Strange New Worlds will somehow be refitted into matching how she appeared in TOS, may I present this image. These two models are both the same scale.

Thank God we never saw that thing close up on the show.Starfleet engineers simply enlarged the ship around 2255 and shrank it again around 2260.
The Yeager class of the 24th century has been described as consisting of an Intrepid-class saucer and a Maquis raider that was enlarged by Starfleet engineers.
