That blastshield or whatever is only in place in a few scenes, most other shots you can see the window.
But I think I was wrong, there does seem to be a thick window tunnel
It's closed in at least one shot of the opening title sequence

Unfortunately not. Check out multiple shots of the exterior, you see a long, goofy and segmented-with-lights tunnel. And compare with the Farragut, whose bridge was moved forward.
Leave the bridge module as it was in TOS.
I kinda like the more streamlined approach.
YMMV for which bridge module you prefer.
Technically this is Discovery Season 2 but eh. I found 3D concept art for the Enterprise bridge that uses TOS movie computer graphics as place holders, and I kinda like it

But on the flip side, I'd bet dollars to donuts that they will make some "fan-friendly" tweaks somewhere along the way.
If anyone was still entertaining the notion that the Enterprise in Strange New Worlds will somehow be refitted into matching how she appeared in TOS, may I present this image. These two models are both the same scale.
I mean, Starfleet somehow refitted it to make it larger (from The Cage in 2254 to Will You Take My Hand? in 2257. I’d imagine Starfleet knows how to refit it to return it to its original size by 2265 for WNMHGB.

The Yeager class of the 24th century has been described as consisting of an Intrepid-class saucer and a Maquis raider that was enlarged by Starfleet engineers.
Thank God we never saw that thing close up on the show.
