One aspect of Triad that I find a bit peculiar, is how they give one vote to each party and one vote to a neutral party. Wouldn't each party automatically vote for their side, leaving the third neutral party always the tie breaker? In that case, the neutral party is deciding the entire case so you are essentially putting the entire case in the hands of just one neutral party. I don't see the point in giving each party a vote that will just cancel each other out. Although perhaps there could be some exceptions where one side changes their mind, a bit like how sometimes one party settles in real life court cases.
