The Sexy Kate Mulgrew picture thread, Part 3

Hey! I found this thread over on Page 5! I might as well bump this back on Page 1.

Hi there! Been a long time, since I last posted on this thread. As many of you know, I've moved on to another fandom, but I certainly have not forsaken my love for VOY, particulary my love for Janeway/Kate Mulgrew.

Lately, I found a Mrs. Columbo episode in the 3rd Season DVD set of Columbo. It was a bonus epy in the set, and it's title "Murder is Parlor Game". It was my first-time view of Kate in that role, and given it gave unique views of Kate, I had decided to screen-cap the episode to post on JuPiter Station and share with all the Kate fans here on this thread.

Here are a few of the 100+ caps I had taken from the episode. Remember, everyone, Kate was 23 at the time she had made this episode in late 1978 or early 1979 before the episode first aired on March 1, 1979.

Interesting shot. If one looks carefully, one can see a bit of her bra there.

Looking nice and classy in a business dress as she works at the local newspaper.

OMG! It's the 'F**K Me!' boots! I wonder if they are the same high-heel boots Kate wore at the Galileo Con two years ago.

Very nice head shot. She looks adorable.

Kate- "Ew! Now that's a horrible painting! I wouldn't fall for such a guy with a tatto on his left temple!"

Golly! She looks like Janeway in this shot!

Nice shot of her looking like she is gently scolding or something.

I might as well give my thoughts regarding the episode.

After seeing this episode, I understand why the series didn't last long. Kate's character is just too happy joyful most of the time, and she appears to be too smug at times.

Also the writing is bad. The Scottish inspector killed another guy in self-defence and he tried to cover it up like he commited a crime! Give me a break! It was self-defence, and he didn't committed murder! I can't see why he needed to cover it up. Stupid.

So as much as I enjoyed seeing Kate in a role that I have not seen before, I can't say I enjoyed the episode.

Anyway... I noticed Kate's hair is brown, not auburn, and her voice still has that raspy tone, yet not much when she was playing Janeway. Being 23, she sure was quite beautiful then. I'm glad she aged gracefully over the years. She's lucky.

Kim Possible - an animated series by Disney. I enjoyed the stories of a teenage *redhead* cheerleader girl saving the world with her sidekick/partner (a boy) and still have time to make the honor roll, cheerleading practice, etc.

And thanks to those who missed me. I'm busy with my life and writing up Kim Possible fanfics when I have the time. I hop in once in awhile to see what everyone is discussing, etc., just as I said months ago, I don't feel like contributing much to the discussions, given I've pretty much 'been there, done that'.

(shrug) Anyway, I'm glad everyone is enjoying the Mrs. Columbo caps I posted. They are least new to add to the hundreds of many Kate pics we're all mostly famailiar by now. It was a joy to least see Kate playing a role other than the great Janeway I love.

I love that show! I don't catch it as it's broadcast but I received the first dvd as a gag gift (since I'm a Kim) and enjoy pulling it out now and then - fun stuff.

Thanks for the pictures of Kete. I didn`t realize what a real beauty she was when she was young.now that she is older she still is a very attractive woman.

When someone is born beautiful and as the years go by they sometime let themselves go to pot but to her credit she remains a beatuiful person,both inside and out.

Oh yeah. My parents knew her and I was friends with her nephew in high school. Kate isn't the easiest person to deal with at times.

It's the fiery Irish personality, of course. Her son is cute, and she's cool! From what I saw when I met her at a convention, when she hugged me and led the whole audience in a rousing "Happy Birthday" for me, she's very nice.
