A Vulcan who had ridges naturally? Who was that?We have also seen ridged Vulcans before.

Well, there has been at least one more that has been mentioned here.We discover these are the only Romulans ever assimilated.
Also I guess the writers forgot about Orum.

I mean, they gave Spock a sibling who never existed before, so that is the track record. That’s probably why it’s correct. Can you imagine the shitstorm if it turned out Vulcans were androids all along? Talk about killing a franchise.
Twice actually. Then again, none of Spock's relatives existed, until they did.I mean, they gave Spock a sibling who never existed before, so that is the track record.
Its fucking laughable to think that this would taint Star Trek. This is the same anti-synthetic bias that is showcased in Picard. What difference would it make if Vulcans are descended from a created race? They are born, they live, and they die like everyone else. How do their ancestors invalidate the personal stories of the Vulcans we've followed?Data was obviously an android from the start. They’ll have to explain how Spock was half human-half synth.
I hope this all isn’t true. I really do. It would taint the preceding fifty year of Vulcans in Trek and create SO many problems.
Hopefully it’s the Romulans created the Borg and it went wrong.
The problem with the idea is that it is immensely stupid. Its fucking laughable to think that this would taint Star Trek. This is the same anti-synthetic bias that is showcased in Picard. The idea that if the Vulcans or Romulans were originally bio-androids destroys Star Trek for you, you are beyond help.

That's how Trek works: regardless of what exactly is being written or produced, Vulcans are dysfunctional, Klingons look different, and Starfleet exists to hinder our heroes. NewTrek seems to have gotten much of that down pat, even if said writing and production values cause concern.

It isn't at all. How else to explain scientifically what Vulcans are capable of?
A spy-device that, per Picard, is illegal in Federation space. She's likely to have a few of those keepsakes that she keeps on a strict need-to-know basis.Well she hid her Tal Shiar spy-device untill now. Who knows what else she is hiding.
Oh yes it is!It isn't at all.
How would being synths explain anything? They would be synths in name only, completely indistinguishable from normally evolved biological beings and no one over the centuries would have ever noticed that this is not the case. How else to explain scientifically what Vulcans are capable of?

Masquerading as a Romulan.Tallera (aka: T'Paal) from Gambit Patrs 1 & 2 was ridged.
Mintakans are not Vulcans. Then there were the Mintakans.
