I get paid ten bucks an hour and there's only a few events like that I dont really like going to. I much prefer working concerts.

That must be great fun. Have you seen any good bands?

I'm quite sure Hasu doesn't want to be reminded about that certain artist's two concerts she had to work at! *Starts running before she gets me*

Also is it sad I couldn't remember my home phone number while ordering some pizzas.

Ive seen some really good bands and some bad ones lol. The worst was probably Celine Dion two nights in a row.

But in terms of good shows there was Cruefest (motely crue, papa roach, buckcherry, sixx:am and trapt), NIN, Feist, Tom Petty and Metallica as well as New Kids on the Block are coming.

I know there is some good Canadian bands. A sad fact I don't own one CD from a Canadian band. I can't stand most mainstream crap.

Elim, listen to The Unicorns. There are tons of other good canadian bands, but that's the first that comes to mind.

Have one song of their on a hottest 100 CD (Back in Your Head), but that is all. The song wouldn't be my favourite on the album, but the highest Canadian artist with the poll was Feist, which I didn't know were Canadian.

I'd also suggest something from The Weakerthans. Who are awesome.

I don't think have every been played here on the radio, but I know you like them, but if I remember I'll take a listen sometime.

Philo - heard of them, as they were played on the best radio station here triple j ages ago.

Of course Feist is Canadian. She was originally from the band Broken Social Scene which is also an awesome band.

Good evening everyone. Listened to some Tegan & Sara and Broken Social Scene, as well as some Emily Haines/Metric on the way home. Last night reminded me of them so I figured i'd re-listen to some of the stuff

You know, maybe I'll do that too. It's been awhile since I've listened to any of that stuff.

So, favourite songs of theirs? I'll give you mine after, y'know, I remind myself what they are.

In terms of Tegan and Sara my all time favourite song is My Number, i also like Monday Monday Monday, The Con, and many others just cause they are that awesome.

Broken Social Scene I am just getting into but adore the songs Lover's Spit, Cause=Time, Swimmers, and Almost Crimes.

Emily Haines is just pure awesomeness. I've been listening to the song Eden lately, and some of Metric's songs (Dead Disco, Wet Blanket, Succexy).

There are probably other songs I'm just too tired to think.

I've been listening to the new Snow Patrol CD that just recently came out. A couple of the songs are pretty slow, but I'm enjoying it overall. Moreso than their last one.
