Hey, yeah! Where the hell was Rizzo? I saw a bunch of rats at one point, but no Rizzo to be found. Also, both 80's Robot and Walter will be solid additions to the Muppet gang... but I missed Rizzo!
Oh, and I loved Steve Whitmire as Kermit. The voices still don't sound quite right to me... but I think I'm beginning to let go of the original performers and to accept the new guys as the Muppets.
The thing I noticed about Kermit's voice in this movie is that he seemed kind of...melancholy? I think that's the word I want. He was a slightly defeated frog. I think it worked perfectly for the tone of this movie, but I hope he gets back to being more happy-go-lucky in future films.
Speaking of future films, I know it's not really in the Muppets style, but I would love to see a series of films in this "continuity," if you will. With Walter now a full-time Muppet, I think it would make sense to keep Mary and Gary around, too.
