The Motion Picture (Theatrical). A truly beautiful and deeply misunderstood film. I love the tone/feel, the pace, the score, the FX. A wonderful science fiction movie.

The Voyage Home. It has always been my favorite Trek movie and helped get me into the franchise as a kid. I think the chemistry among the cast is at its peak here, and the humor is well done and feels natural.

The Undiscovered Country. Miles better than The Voyage Home. Let's put it this way: If I was channel surfing and these two movies were playing at the same time on two different channels, I would watch The Undiscovered Country every time.

I'll vote to save Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. It's not a perfect film (it suffers from sloppy plotting at times), but I enjoy revisiting it, and think it looks terrific, despite the budget.

I'm going to attempt to save TMP. Now that most of the favorites are gone, I'd like to save a film whose mechanical heart was in the right place, just executed in a questionable way. If the next Trek film could mix in the existential, relatively hard sci-fi of TMP with the character play of the better movies, then I'll have a favorite.
