Maybe we are on a "reservation", but we have no idea how likely that is. Perhaps the hypothetical builders of these "megastructures" are imperialistic xenophobic pacifists.The Fermi Paradox -- I explained the numbers above: 200 billion / 80 thousand = 2.5 million based on the number of KST observed main sequence stars whose data has so far processed and the approximate number of main sequence stars in the galaxy.Why would you think you have any idea of how likely it is? Perhaps an ancient civilization has been building megastructures around stars for hundreds of millions of years as they colonize the galaxy.
If this is a megastructure, the lack of evidence that aliens have been to Earth implies that something (the Great Filter) wipes them out as soon as they start to look like they're going to start spreading across the galaxy or that we're on a reservation.
