Thanks Marynator. I just hope I actually qualify for citizenship, but I think I do. I confirmed that my mom was born in Canada, along with my grandparents. My mom has lived and worked in the States for as long as I've been alive, but I wasn't 100% she was actually born in Canada. So that helps my cause I think...Congratulations cosmic mouse! I hope the process is smooth and pleasant for you.
If she was born in Canada, I am about 99% confident you will not have a problem. From personal experience, having the dual citizenship is absolutely wonderful and I hope you enjoy it just as much. I love having the freedom to know that I can spend as much time as I would like on either side of the border, and it just feels like opportunities would be easier if they were needed.

It seems with all the TV show revivals going on right now, the Canadian comedy Corner Gas is also coming back... in animated form.

I'd love to be able to see the animated Corner Gas although I don't know when - or if - the show will be broadcast in the US. 
I'm curious to see if the show's style will be able to make the transition. Sometimes dry humour doesn't translate well in animation.

I didn't. We only have one TV and it was taken over. I'll have to see if I can catch a repeat.
Btw, I looked up with the DVR to see when it would play again, but sadly, there didn't seem to be any repeats scheduled. Odd. The usual trend is for episodes to repeat the same night, and in certain cases back to back, but when I did a search It only found the original non-animated Corner Gas. That doesn't really bode well. I have access to the western feeds as well, and I couldn't see it listed. I refuse to believe they'd only have one showing for the week.
Maybe you can catch something on the Space Channel. The promos are pretty long, and while the scenes aren't connected, I saw enough to know that the episode is about one of the characters seeing a sasquatch. One character says, "I saw a sasquatch as a teen" and another character says, "How do you know the sasquatch was a teen?"
I never saw more than a couple of the live episodes (lots of clips, though), and my impression is that the animated version isn't too different story-wise and with the dialogue.
How is the "new" Emma compared to the original?

Funny thing is, I can totally see that! She was always quite animated in the original show. I can expect that they exaggerated some of the traits the characters have.
Well, once you see it for yourself, you'll be able to tell.

Just curious as to how different/same Corrine Koslo's voice is vs. the original Emma (Janet Wright).
As I said, I don't know enough about the characters to even know who you're talking about. 
Sorry, but I never got into this show to that extent. It's not that I don't like it; some of the clips I've seen are pretty funny. I just never watched it.

We have a local distillery in the early stages of starting up that will be making... wait for it... bacon flavoured vodka and gin. I dunno, but it seems like an odd flavour to have for alcohol. It doesn't exactly make me want to run and get some.
I know somebody who lives in Ontario and is obsessed with bacon. He might like hearing about this place. Could you PM me the address/website?
