Spoilers The Mandalorian | Disney+ | Streaming Nov. 12

Or, you know, because he remembers being protected by the Mandalorians after his family is killed by the Separatist army and he can't bring himself to sacrifice A BABY to the Empire?

This show isn't deep, but it's not shallow either. It's pure homage, polished to a mirror shine and filled with pure style.

What was polished about episode 4? It was a Xena episode with an At-St

Or Greef Carga planted a tracking device in the Razor Crest while he was waiting to ambush the Mandalorian. That makes sense with his reputation.
Were that the case, then it probably wouldn't have taken several weeks for someone to catch up to him, and it wouldn't have been one lone hunter, but a whole team.

To be honest I thought it was the weakest episode thus far. Gina Carano was fun but overall it felt very much like a standalone and a fairly formulaic one at that.

The positives were (as someone else noted) the Seven Samurai references and the way the AT-ST was shown to be incredibly intimidating. We're quite used to seeing things through the eyes of characters who are inordinately powerful or very much comedic, but here we got a real feel for how the Empire could have crushed the spirits of ordinary people.

I've been meaning to ask, is The Mandalorian the first time we've seen Jawas on a planet other than Tattooine?
In canon? I think so. In the EU, not so much.
I've been meaning to ask though; did anyone else think these Jawas' eyes were a little redder than usual?
^Scratch that. I just happened to watch an episode of TCW, and there's a scene in a bar on Coruscant with WC signage that features the silhouette of a Hutt, a human(oid?) and what looks very much like a Jawa.

Even if they're actually from Tatooine and not some semi-nomadic migrant species, it shouldn't be surprising that they've gotten around the galaxy. They're curious, industrious and very adaptable. I can easily see some tribes paying some freighter captain to haul them and their sandcrawler to some other planet with better pickings. Plus of course over the years I can imagine many outcasts and exiles finding their way off-world via Mos Eisley and/or Mos Espa.

Another desert planet? Rather unimaginative.
It was okay but I thought the callbacks were a bit on the nose.

Yeah, a little too much fan service in this one. Started out fun but by the time they got to the cantina, I was a little meh. And I'm not certain that the figure at the end is who people are suggesting it is. In fact, I really hope its not.

It is. It so is.

I'm looking forward to him going out like a chump, again.

Well, if it is, I hope he does. And quickly. ;)

But why are we suggesting it’s him? Maybe it was the screen I was watching but all I could see were some boots and a cape. That honestly could be anyone in the Star Wars universe.
