Sure, but by that logic they should be casting Alec Guinness for the new Kenobi series. As good a match as Ewan is, he's by no means a dead ringer, much less anywhere close to identical. It's all make believe anyway, so you kinda have to be flexible about such things.

I don't know if that's entirely a fair comparison since Alec McGuiness is dead, and both Daniel Logan and Temuera Morrison are still alive.

In a similar vein, in Battlefront II they had Temuera Morrison doing the voice of Boba Fett, but all of the clone troopers were Dee Bradley Baker.

I did not know they did that. Seems like kind of a weird way to do it, but I guess at this point Baker is probably more associated with the clones than Morrison is.

Like I said though, my preference is mostly out of respect for Logan (and the face that he's worked with Filoni before probably helps a little) but realistically, I'd be surprised if they don't use Morrison.

Looking at it from a purely behind the scenes perspective, I can see that. He is the one who really did the most work on the character in the past.

It's fair when you consider they can have Peter Cushing seemingly reprise a role over two decades after his passing.
Ewan did a great job, but he's no Alec McGuiness (nor would he claim to be) and yet most of us accept him as Obi Wan regardless. Likewise, Logan managed to grow into the role in TCW and had they ever finished that pastiche on 'The Searchers' episode with Boba & Cad Bane, I dare say he would have solidified his claim on the role.

Exactly. It'd be weird for most fans to have Morrison delivering all the clone lines just as it would be weird to have the battledroids sound like they did in Episode I & II, rather than have Matt Wood do it.

They haven't confirmed it for sure, but according to IGN Galaxy' Edge has changed the symbol for their baby changing stations to Baby Yoda, instead of the standard baby symbol. Pretty funny if it is real.

Holy crap. As a very vocal critic of this series so far, I gotta admit, episode 6 was pretty kick ass.

One of (but certainly not my only) complaint about this series is how they set up a cool central narrative, but have done nothing but run away from it with standalone episode after standalone episode. I really want the show to get back to the "main" story about the Mandalorian, the Child, the Imperials and the Bounty Hunter Guild.

And now there's only two episodes left to deal with that and we STILL haven't met Moff Gideon.

But episode 6 was episodic done right. It was really great. Legitimately suspenseful and with a great cast of supporting characters who pop instantly and feel like real, interesting characters (lack of charaterization has been one of my other major complaints.)

But this episode hits the ground running, introduces a great supporting cast, has real suspense. It's just fun and engrossing, even if, as has happened way too often in this show, it doesn't really "affect" the Mandalorian's actual fate in any meaningful way.

Probably the best one so far, or at least tied with Episode 3.

Nat Tena as a sociopathic Twi'lek is the best thing since... Well, I can't think of anything better.

And the lighting in the final act was perfect. 10/10 from me.

Best episode and the only one thus far not written by Favreau or Filoni. I don't think that's a coincidence.

(Yes, I know Favreau, as the showrunner, approves all scripts and storytelling decisions and rewrites the final drafts, but this one's writing felt demonstrably different than the others in a good way.)
