Spoilers The Mandalorian | Disney+ | Streaming Nov. 12

Probably go into hiding, or to a place he trusts. But overall probably try to find gizmos err yodas family/ planet.

I doubt he's thought that far ahead. I mean the whole thing was spur of the moment and he's clearly on the outs with the Bondsman Guild, so it's not like he can just flit over to another sector and carry on taking pucks from some other bounty broker.
He's probably going to try and get as far as he can on what fuel he has, then try and find somewhere safe to refuel and plan his next move, all the while an Imperial Remnant faction and every guild member in the sector is going to be hunting him down.

Carl is 61 in the Mandalorian.

Billy was 51 five years after Jedi.

I was actually having trouble picking which one of them was the daddy, because I remember someone saying that Billy was old as hell in Empire.

It's unlikely that they are father and son.

I'm curious how those trackers work, have they given any indication?

Not explicitly, at least so far. In the first episode they also mention something called a 'chain code' in relation to, or addition to, the tracking fob. The last four digits of a chain code are apparently the target's age, as that's all The Client could give The Mandalorian for The Job. I suppose that suggests some sort of biometric tracking. Probably based on publicly available or easily purchasable data. I would hazard to speculate that if you had a full chain code, you would be able to identify species, age, sex and/or gender of the target. Probably elements of physical appearance. Like a shorthand for dna profile. The fob is fed the code, and homes in on whomever the data belongs to.

Curiously, the tracking fobs unerringly target the Child, but the Client claims not to have the full chain code. I suspect this is almost certainly a lie, to prevent any of the bounty hunters from using publicly available databases to investigate the target prior to locating it. But that's a wild guess from the peanut gallery, at the moment.

Great episode, I am absolutely loving this show.

That firefight at the end escalated far more than I thought it would. As others have stated, that was like an old Clone Wars or Rebels episode except in live action.

The second that big Mandalorian started talking, I thought it was Favreau.

Looks like the Obi-Wan show is in good hands based on what Deborah Chow gave us in this episode. (Though to be fair, as we've seen with those paintings during the credits, Favreau and Filoni had a pretty solid grasp on what they wanted this show to look like. I wonder how much freedom the individual directors had.) That whole long sequence from Mando dropping The Child off to getting a new bounty and debating his path was extremely well done though.

Oh yeah, pretty cool that one of those bounty hunters seemed to be a Zabrak (Darth Maul's race).

That's pretty much been my assumption up to this point. I've seen it suggested that they're tracking implants, which would make sense for an asset that escaped/was stolen from an Imperial lab, but we see the Mando use one to also track the bounty in the opening scene, plus he turns in a bunch of different fobs at once for all the bounties he has frozen on his ship.
That last part is interesting though since it suggests that there's something specific about fobs and chain-codes that a hunter can't just keep a tracking fob on them and input whatever chain-code the job requires.
One also assumes they have a relatively limited range down to a few miles at most, otherwise tracking would be *way* too easy.

I don't think he was a Dathomirian Zabrak though. Didn't get a good look but I'm pretty sure he didn't have Nightbrother tattooed markings, just the natural ones like Sugi, Eeth Koth & Agen Kolar. That said the armor did kind of look like Savage Opress's gear, so maybe he was Dathomirian but just from some other tribe? That or he's an Iridonian passing himself off as Dathomirian to seem more intimidating. Not unlike Jango and his armour...

*slams hand on table* Thank you!! That was bugging me for a while! I wanted to google it, got sidetracked and forgot to. Zabrak!!

I'm a bit more 'meh' on the third episode than most. It was alright, but I'm looking forward to them expanding a bit more and including more characters.

Some of the Mandos appeared to be using WESTAR-35 blaster pistols.
First seen in Clone Wars, Sabine in Rebels also used a pair.

They are Mandalorian pistols, so it makes sense.

Yeah, it was.

Could the armourer a former member of Maul’s group from Clone Wars? She does have horns on her helmet.
I was wondering about that, but that didn't even occur to me. Could be a good possibility.
Apparently Disney made Giphy remove all of their GIF's of Baby Yoda. The stupid thing is, apparently GIFs are considered tansformative and so are considered fair use.
They've also released the descriptions for episodes 4-6.
Episode 4: The Mandalorian teams up with an ex-soldier to protect a village from raiders.
Episode 5: The Mandalorian helps a rookie bounty hunter who is in over his head.
Episode 6: The Mandalorian joins a crew of mercenaries on a dangerous mission.
It's a little surprising to see them switch to what a appear to be smaller standalone stories after the first three were a big continuing arc.
I'm curious what Baby Yoda's role in all of this is going to be. Is he just going to drop him off somewhere, or will he be dragging along through all of these different situations.

That info come from a Collider source......would not count those chickens. He even says in the original article IF these hold true............

By who, some guy at Fortune according to that link? All the current stuff happening in politics has brought a couple things into sharp focus for me. One, is stuff that is considered agreed upon or sensible by everyone doesn't mean jack if it isn't actually written in stone. Secondly, even if it is written in stone it still doesn't mean jack if the bodies meant to interpret and enforce it choose not to.

It does seem crazy to ban them though as I would imagine a popular meme would drive people to want to see the source material more than it would somehow hurt revenue.

That got me wonder if Baby Yoda will get his own Black Series figure, or if he'll be an accessory for a Mando one.

This is basically my feelings of the series so far. There's some good, but mostly I’m meh because I don’t care about Mando much. And action scenes featuring characters I don’t care about are pretty meh for me.

It’s a fine show, from a technical point of view. Looks good, sounds good. I just don’t really care yet.

Well, I have the feels about Baby Yoda, but that would be true if the baby was hosting a cooking show on YouTube.

I’ve seen some speculation that Obi-Wan is going to have a cameo as the person who first found the Mando as a child. I think it should be Yoda, then it would show that’s why he saves Baby Yoda when IG-11 tries to kill him and caused his initial affection for him. Other than him being the cutest thing in the galaxy of course.
