"State of Flux" takes a hit, because "Timeless" showed that Harry was a viable character who deserved far better than the seven years of crapping on that he got.

God, Harry and Chakotay showpieces as our final two, how grim! I was rooting for “Pathfinder”, my favorite Voyager.

I think I do ultimately prefer “Timeless”, so my last point to “State Of Flux,”

Missed a couple rounds. But I’m going for Timeless. It is one of my favorite episodes in all of Trek, however, State of Flux is the first Voyager episode I remember really seeing how the show could be great and it all really happens in a primary timeline with consequences and all. Plus Seska. I can’t vote against her. Ever.

I was going to vote for Timeless too but was in bed.

I know they have gone to the alternate timeline well a lot during Berman-era Trek, but Timeless and Yesterday's Enterprise are among my favourite episodes despite the reset in both of them. He was terrible in most of his other solo episodes but the tortured Harry trying to right his wrongs is such good viewing.

Glad Timeless won but State of Flux was one of those early episodes that made me think VOY was going to be great. Seska was a great character, and it was always fun seeing her butt heads with the crew. It's also one of those episodes that could only have been told on VOY, with Maquis conflict.

Unfortunately, the show for me never became great, but that's another story. I still like rewatching more than ENT.

I'd more say it was the episodes that were bad. Garrett Wang was decent enough as an actor when given something to do.

I wouldn't say State of Flux is a VOY top 10 episode but it's the best episode from season one.

It's definitely up there, in terms of quality.

Watching Harry in VOY is like watching a six-foot NBA center miss a slam dunk. They could have developed his character any of half a dozen ways and made it work well. But having him be Clueless Newbie Harry Kim after 7 hard years in the Delta Quadrant... nope.

Reminds me of the Voyager Mutiny story, which splices a bunch of episode clips together: Worst Case Scenario, Basics, and even Tuvix.
