I might not claim it's better than Goldeneye, but it's still a pretty damn good movie all the same. Strictly IMO, of course, YMMV, [Insert Some Other Acronym].Tomorrow Never Dies is better than Goldeneye

Interesting list. Some rumours, rather than solid news here. Interestingly, if true, it seems that the priority is to get a script and director, then think about casting the actor to fill the tux and carry the PPK.

Yup, I’ve been saying for years that I’d love to see this - I often use the various Sherlock Holmes adaptations as a comparatorWow!
That is the possible upside to the Amazon deal, and may even allow for us to get more Bond content without burning anyone out. Maybe there's a "prime" Bond film every 3/4 years starting Aaron Taylor-Johnson (or whoever) but between them we get random one off stuff like this! I'm sure there are a lot of actors who wouldn't want to commit to playing 007 for ten or fifteen years but would jump at the chance to play him once.
Though there’s also the Jackman/RDJ/Sebastian Stan models.I do wonder if Holmes, or even Batman might be the way the franchise now goes, with no actor staying in the part longer than maybe three films?
If Apple's F1 movie is successful, which I think is difficult but not impossible, Amazon's movies will be successful too. There are people on social media who think that Amazon will be successful in theaters in 2026 by looking at the movies it will release in 'theaters' except for James Bond and Creed. Maybe a few of the movies it will release in 2026 will be successful. But most of them will fail at the box office. There are people who think that Apple's 200 million dollar F1 movie will be successful at the box office. The guy is a movie critic and doesn't have any website. He tells me 'some of us make predictions and some of us talk to them.' I said 'are you talking to Amazon and Apple in your dreams?' and finally blocked him.
It's definitely a big improvement over Spectre and I like it a whole lot more than I do Quantum of Solace.
Technically, was The Sting not his next big role? This weekend marks the 50th anniversary of Robert Shaw's next big role...not to mention the birth of the summer blockbuster.
