It's Dune that did it for meIt is weird that Madeline left me cold in Spectre but since NTTD I've just adored Lea Seydoux.

I’ve been watching This City Is Ours and am wondering which category, if either, it’s lead, James Nelson-Joyce, would fall into. Physically, compared to previous Bonds, I’d say he’s closest to a mix of Dalton and Craig, but generally looks a bit more Richard Madden, mixed with Benedict Cumberbatch and a little Nicholas Hoult. He has a very strong Liverpool (which is close to where craig grew up, iirc) but most actors can do RP.
I think Amazon will probably go closer to the Brosnan/Lazenby classically handsome mould, but if they wanted someone with a little more intensity and danger, I would at least be curious to see his audition.

Sony made a 'that' type of purchase. But Amazon and Apple can buy as many 'theater' chains as they want, unless they buy every cinema chain in the world, they may still have trouble at the box office.Didn't the tRump administration in its first term, weaken or remove the protections in place that allowed movie studios to own their own movie theaters?
I'm surprised Amazon or Apple hasn't taken advantage of this and brought out a failing chain, or, bought up some smaller, independent movie houses and run movies from their MGM library.
They could do Bond or Pink Panther weeks, if the price point was reasonable. I'm sure there is an audience wanting to see the older Bond movies on the big screen again, that they never saw in the theater the first time.
The 28 ... Later franchise of course has multiple Bond link.
Naomie Harris is in the first film, Ralph Fiennes is in the third one, Danny Boyle directed the first and third and almost directed NTTD and Rose Byrne is in the second film and by all accounts came very close to playing Vesper in Casino Royale.
Robert Carlyle was in Days and TWINE
