From Connery’s Bond, who only listened to the Beatles while wearing earmuffs, to an actor who once played John Lennon?
But this term will count as a different presidency, the same as with Grover Cleveland being counted as the 22nd and 24th president.A thought I had which dips into real world politics, but hopefully not enough to be out of bounds for this forum. Anyway, I remember just after the 2020 US election someone noted in the pre-release thread we had for No Time to Die that Trump was now the only US president since Eisenhower to not have a Bond movie released during his presidency. But now Trump's getting a second term, so if MGM can get a new Bond movie out before January 2029, he might get a Bond movie during his presidency yet.
The human sandwich fillings.I'm not into numerology, but I realized a connection. The president between Cleveland's terms, Benjamin Harrison, was #23. The president between Trump's terms, Joe Biden, is #46.

Biden should start introducing himself as the meat in a Trump sandwich. The human sandwich fillings.
I don't see how that benefits or boosts him, though it's technically valid.Biden should start introducing himself as the meat in a Trump sandwich.
Come now. Is a 26th installment truly going to be that exciting for anybody? And how the hell could any future Bond surpass Timothy Dalton?Well as a surprise to no one Barbara and Michael got their honorary Oscars yesterday and did not choose the moment to announce who the next Bond would be.
Sigh.

I'm just surprised--and annoyed---honorary Oscars are given out way BEFORE the awards, and we can't enjoy the winners in a 10-minute spotlight like we used to. We got to see Poitier, but not Donald Sutherland and others. It's only 1/24th of the show. They could spare that.
While Brosnan is my favourite Bond (next to Moore and Connery, but Brosnan is my first Bond), I'd think, it'd be cool, of one gave Lazenby another chance. Maybe in a special, where all he needs to do, is provide voice-overs?In all honesty, bringing Dalton or Brosnan back would be interesting. Probably won't ever happen, but I'd be there if it did.
