I think that's true of pretty much every movie Myers has made. The more input/control has, the worse it is. That Netflix series from a few years ago that he produced and starred in was nigh-unwatchable and the less said about the Love Guru the better.

Well, it was an Ian Fleming book. I just hope they get it off the ground (heh) in time to give Dick Van Dyke a cameo.
I always thought it funny that while the Bond cars with all the fancy gadgets are largely an invention of the movies, Fleming did indeed write of a car that, shall we say, exceeds the manufacturer's specifications.
Huh. I didn't realize until right now that the screenplay of the movie was written by Roald Dahl of Willy Wonka and James and the Giant Peach fame.

You really could have just cut that down to "Clifton James" and still would be correct.
