That second episode Edge of Tomorrow pastiche was one of the most boring, laboured pieces of entertainment TV I have ever seen. What a load of self indulgent rubbish. Also, the American is a very poor Stig replacement, there's nothing entertaining about watching some arrogant passionless tosser, who hates and moans about every car he drives.
Rest of the show has been quite entertaining though, love the celebrity guest segments.

First of all, some thoughts on the episodes themselves. I enjoyed the first one, with the holy trinity. The second one was crap. Episodes three and four were a lot of fun. So overall, I'm pleased. I'm not a huge fan of the new track and the American doesn't really work though.
Anyway, Amazon Prime Video finally became available over here, so I subscribed right away. I watched parts of episode one earlier in 4K with HDR and it looks absolutely amazing. Like ridiculously pretty. OTOH the sound mix feels a bit off. Like some of the talking (shouting) feels too loud, yet the engine noises arent'd loud enough.

When they were in their prime (not on Prime), they had some so-so episodes and a lot of great ones.
Now they're doing twice as many per season, and they've been at it a long time. There's bound to be some clunkers.
