Spoilers The Flash - Season 3

I don't think he killed anyone in Season 1

I looked up summaries of the first few episodes, where I though he'd killed people. Turns out it's more like the villains died due to other factors. The first Weather Wizard in the pilot was shot by Joe. The villain in episode 2 basically committed suicide while Barry was trying to save him. I thought the Mist in episode 3 had been killed by the Flash, but apparently he came back a couple of times, so I guess I remembered wrong.

I guess maybe they were talking about crossing the line of making a premeditated choice to kill someone, as opposed to a heat-of-battle, last-resort thing. But didn't Barry already make that choice with Reverse Flash at some point, even though he didn't go through with it?

There's a 100,000 combinations for a 5 digit code, so supersmart

Actually not.
A five-digit number has five different place settings which can take on various values. The first digit can take on nine values, from 1 to 9. For the second through fifth digits any number between 0 and 9 can be used. To find the total number of combinations, these values are then multiplied together: 9 x 10 x 10 x 10 x 10 = 90,000 total combinations.

Wonder how many Canadians missed the Flash tonight because its been dumped to ctv2 (which for my cable company isn't carried as an HD channel) in favour of the voice?

Fuck you very much ctv.
So that's why it wasn't on my DVR when I got back last night. At least you have it on your cable provider. Mine doesn't offer CTV2 in any capacity. I'm stuck watching it on the CTV app (which really sucks--bad enough I'm already forced to do that for Legends--as I can't accumulate a few episodes and watch them in a chunk as is my preference. Have to watch within a week or they're locked out.)

yeah ctv's app is atrocious. My ISP doesn't have a peering arrangement (though they've finally got one with TSN) so I don't know it it works any better when you can login

and cos there's no peering it's not on the OnDemand service either.

No peering. My provider is not among those I can choose to unlock the prior episodes. It's because my cable provider has been in a long and vicious rivalry (local press in French is often nasty as my cable provider also owns a Montreal newspaper) with Bell Media (owner of CTV). This sucks.

This was an episode that showed the limits of their budget and/ or imaginations. It's amazing that we can see CGI Gorillas fighting on network television. But that seems to be the extent of their idea. So after the setup of assistance of the Police force they have no involvement in the finale.

I think limitations of budget and logistics. So they got the police in one scene...but then when it's just the speedsters..if you look behind them (like way back), there are cars turning..like normal traffic. So the producers were able to block off a good portion of the street, but not enough to make the area look deserted completely onscreen. Otherwise, it's kinda weird for normal traffic to go on when there is a gorilla army invasion!

Just imagine the traffic reports in Central City. "Downtown is closed from 37th to 52nd streets between 5th and 7th avenues due to a gorilla army invasion."

Not everybody is going to get the memo about the latest super-danger, and it takes a lot of manpower to physically cordone off the various roads (manpower who would have to be equipped to handle a gorilla army). Though, I imagine the smarter folks are using some sort of disaster alert app on their phones.

I watch it live, so I didn't, but I was confused that it wasn't on the normal channel.

Is this a permanent change?
