I saw on the news last night that the commercial networks aren't happy. I know many NRL and AFL teams are affected also. I know my team doesn't have a sponsorship on their jersey.

Agree @Marc - it would be nice. But this is still a better option than what we have at the moment.

Problem is it’s as addictive for govts as it is for gamblers so neither side is particularly keen to really rein it in.

As someone with autism who had a friend not believing me that I have autism and who has to appeal to the disability fund to get disability benefits on a almost yearly basis, this makes me so livid

This kind of thing though is so easy to get away with here in Australia because there is almost zero oversight, and the public servants whose job it is to do that can't be bothered to chase cases like this up.
