Well for starters Australia doesn’t have Quebec or Alberta so the federation is stronger.
Each state doesn’t have its own health program, instead everything is administered under the federal Medicare system which is funded by athe Medicare levy (there is a bit more to but that’s the crux).
There is s.109 of the constitution that says if a state and federal law conflict the feds prevail.
the constitution also gives clear delineation of the powers of the feds and states.
She’s probably right in some respects but if an attempt was made for Canada to be managed in the same way, the tories would have a shit fit.
though if she’s try say the conservative federal govt in Australia is doing a good job, I’d ask what is she smoking.

What I predict will happen is the govt. won't appeal the ruling and he will play, then they will shrug their shoulders and Morrison or someone will say "at least we tried"
