With CBS acquiring Ch10, how long do you think that will be?Ha. The discussion there about the morality of VPN'ing international netflix was amusing. Sorry guys, that ball is long gone.
Hopefully CBS all access is a long way off for us then. I don't want to lose trek cause dvd's really are a pain.
WIN! WIN! WIN!!! By 48 points.
MIss Chicken is jumping for joy.
One day - hopefully before I die - Richmond will rise from the ashes like a phoenix and once again be the great team which they used to be.
So, any thoughts on the new security database? Basically all photo license images will be stored and used against facial recognition software. Very Person of Interest, very Big Brother, IMO.
What about those people who do not have a license?
I know it comes at a cost, but I always think it is a good idea to keep a current passport.I have a state issued photo ID card that I got when I knew I was taking a flight, my youngest son also has one for the same reason. However my other son, my best friend and her sister have no photo ID card at all.
To restate: the database of faces attached to facial recognition software so that you can be followed everywhere.
Some years ago (that TI and Refuge might be too young to remember) the Govt (and this was the one on the left) wanted to bring in what was called the Australia Card, a single number that combined tax file no, SSN and Medicare no and driver's license, with a photo, that any branch of Govt could use. It was viewed as a gross invasion of privacy and eventually dropped. What the current Govt is proposing is the first step in a digital version of that.
