So it's all eyes on QLD tonight, in what will be a very closely watched state election.
A horror result for the LNP will surely be all the ammo the Federal party room needs to remove Abbott (as if they needed any more).
I'm also interested in what will happen to Newman. The latest betting has him at $3.50 to retain Ashgrove, so he'll be a premier without a seat in a few hours. I wonder what will happen? Parachuted into the safest seat they can find I suppose. Will be an interesting victory speech to put it mildly.
Newspoll this morning has the 2PP at 52-48 to the LNP, with primaries at 41% LNP, 37% ALP. The ALP primary vote is way too low, especially with optional preferential voting, it won't be enough to get them there this time.
