The Defenders--Marvel/Netflix

There is no mention of Wai Ching Ho in IMDb's cast list for The Defenders or any other source I've come across. If she's going to be in it, they're effectively keeping it secret.
Well, I wouldn't trust IMDb's lack of casting to mean anything one way or the other. They're highly unreliable for future projects. The lack of any news source is more telling. II wonder what kind of news came out about Wai Ching appearing in Iron Fist or season 2 of Daredevil regarding her appearances there, although I think she was featured in the Iron Fist trailer.

Absolutely. I'd say Ritter and Colter are the strongest of the four leads. Cox is okay, but not amazing. Jones isn't bad as an actor, but he had a poorly conceived character to work with, and he failed to receive adequate martial-arts training for the part (which I blame the producers for more than him, since lots of productions have provided such training to cast members who lacked it before).
True and I hope Jones will come off better now that he's not working under Scott Buck and his writing.

IGN posted a story theorizing about who Weaver could be playing, and they talked about a demon that The Hand deals with called The Beast of The Hand. I could see Weaver's character being it's host, and it could also be explanation for all of the stuff going on in Daredevil Season 2. Maybe the whole Black Sky thing was about The Beast and Elektra is meant to be it's next host.

I thought it was already officially confirmed he was in it?

I've been looking aroung the web. There hasn't been any official announcement about his presence, just speculation. Kingpin wasn't announced for Daredevil's second season (even if he had a minor presence), so I guess there's still some hope he'll show up...

Wow, that's incredible for a television series. I'm trying to remember, what were the recent numbers for the Thor and Star Wars trailers (any other record setting trailers)?

You know what my favourite thing about that shot of the corridor fight is? While Jessica, Luke and Danny each one-punch a goon out of the fight, poor not super-strength Matt is still busy at the back trying to beat that one guy into submission.

Reminds me of the scene in Iron Man 2 where Happy takes on one of Hammer's security goons, gets into this long, drawn-out fistfight with him, and finally takes him down while triumphantly declaring "I got him!" Meanwhile, in the time it took him to do that, Black Widow has already gotten to her destination, taking out several Hammer goons in the process.

Rosario Dawson essentially described Claire in those terms on Colbert last week. She was bummed that she didn't get to have superpowers until she realized that was her power.

The trailer has them at odds but Cage and Danny are going to be best buds in no time. It's kinda comical to see this troupe again in the MCU. They did that in the first Avengers and Guardians already.

Every team-up / buddy movie tries to draw a little more water from that well. "Characters don't like each other, but eventually become best friends after harrowing adventures" is a tale as old as the Epic of Gilgamesh.
