The dedicated Disco crying thread

2. He doubled-down on everything I said upthread without realizing it. He tried to be sneaky, but no dice.

Uh-uh.

I know you read this forum. And you probably saw a thread where I said I'd do this and shot down some Major Grin nonsense. Then I said I changed my mind for the reasons @Santa Carl just said. But please go on and pretend you didn't know. I decided not to shoot through someone else's hoops, and I'm not going to shoot through yours either. It's not a fair game because we all know goalposts are moved on a whim.

The complaining about actual crying and "crying" is all the Fandom Menace has left to complain about with Discovery because they know they don't have anything else now besides "But, but, but I just don't like Michael Burnham! And I just have to say it all the time because that's what I do!" So they'll just take it and run with it. No matter how it makes them look. My thoughts on it here.

List the number of times she's cried. Don't say "every episode" and be done with it. List specific examples. Tears have to come out of her eyes or no dice.

You are wrong.

People can cry without tears.

You are trying to strawmanning people by making up your own definitions and then claim victory when people can't come up with examples. You are manufacturing a triumph where none exists.

Example 1:
Michelle Burnham is crying in this scene, even though there are no tears.

Example 2:
Michelle Burnham is crying. Without tears.

How do I definitely, positively and absolutely know Michelle Burnham is crying?
1) I can see it.
2) I can hear it.
3) The subtitles are saying so!

It's even stated in the subtitles that Michelle Burnham is crying! Even without tears!

Checkmate.

Oh, and BTW, Michelle Burnham is also whispering. All The Time.

That is also in the subtitles!

I've been busy with life for hours on end. Glad to see I haven't missed anything.

Funny, you are one of the most ardent users on this forum, you are debating people all day long excessively about the smallest minutiae.
But all of a sudden, IRL is more important, and you are boasting about it here.
Ok, sure, whatever...

Didn't they at least strongly imply Kira and Opaka had never met prior to this episode?

Different types of relationships.

Burnham and Nhan are supposed to have a personal 1-to-1 relationship (friendship).
Opaka and Kira have a religious leader-follower relationship.
Opaka is a public figure, highly regarded by almost all Bajorns, and an important symbol during the occupation, especially for the resistance.

I'm curious if there are any/many women in your life, because that's exactly how women in my circle act and react when they're parting ways. Perhaps more real-life experience will have you revisit the show with a new perspective.
So now we are getting personal?

He or she is good at shiposting, if nothing else.
Well, that is one type of argument...

bLaCk woMan SHow emoTIONs baD

...but with a lot more more charts and Major Grin simping.
Your words, not mine.

Any other arguments, other than accusations that I'm a supposed "racist sexist incel shitposter"?
