The Forge - Even though I like The Forge much better than United, it is time to put an end to this charade of a favorites thread and let it fall by the wayside. I'll take the honor of ending it now.

A strange finale, with someone ending the game upon deciding they don't like it anymore, but onto The Original Series.

The Next Generation Winner: The Best of Both Worlds (I).
Deep Space Nine Winner: In the Pale Moonlight.
Voyager Winner: Meld.
Enterprise Winner: United.

Nobody really agrees on anything, and because fewer numbers saw the show, there's no popular received wisdom like there is with TOS, TNG and even DS9. Just lots of differing opinions who were mostly there at the time, and still don't agree on anything!

Sadly, the only received wisdom about ENT, is probably to switch off before that theme song gets yer...

I hated the old ENT theme, but I appreciated it even more when the new one came along.

I also have to say that I don't actually have a favourite ENT episode. Perhaps when I get around to rewatching the series I'll have one, but right now I can't think.

Funny that. I'm the other way around. I didn't mind it early on. Then they sped it up, remixed it or whatever that was!

Oh I wrote that totally wrong. I meant that I didn't like the original theme, but then hated the new version so much more that it made me miss the old one.

I've been thinking (or overthinking!) about the winner, and I'm still uncertain if United was ENT's best, but I remember loving it and thinking that finally the series was living up to its potential. It was just a shame that there wasn't much left by this point in the show's run.
