Clancy: Jean Luc on behalf of Starfleet we would like to apologize and offer you a new command.
Picard: Go fuck yourself Admiral........I have a ship and crew.

This would be the perfect scene right before whatever the cliffhanger is.

Sheer fucking hubris is quotable though.
Q: Didn't I tell you the trial never ends, Mon Capitaine?Hopefully in the fucking finale!
Seriously, Kurtzman & Co are making one (animated) for Nickelodeon. When (and if) there's a Star Trek show for very young kids, you can have her watch it.![]()
In my experience, this is very much a regional thing. As somebody who spent much of my adult life in New York, often comes as a shock to realize that there are still parts of the country where saying "fuck" is a big deal and not just casual punctuation. And as for whether it's "professional" . . . I'm guessing that also depends on the profession. What's inappropriate for a Sunday school teacher may be perfectly normal for a dissolute sci-fi writer.
Clearly, Clancy comes from the 24th century equivalent of Brooklyn . . . or maybe the East Village.![]()

Picard doesnt like it either.... (just dont make picard say it and im happy)
I don’t find the way Star Trek Picard uses swear words to be unnatural. What I find forced is when Joe Pesci says “fuck” every 5 words in a Mafia movie. That’s a lot more gratuitous than it’s use in Picard.
Care to explain why?But it’s funny when he does it. It’s annoying when Tilly, Clancy, and Jurati do it.
Care to explain why?
They were probably referring to the latter part of your statement.Just watch a movie with Joe Pesci in it and you'll understand.

It's a discussion board. It's the actual point we're here for.I know what he meant. I just thought it was pointless to explain my opinion about why cursing in DSC and PIC annoys me.

Which you did and then decided not to support it, for...reasonsI know what a discussion board is for. Do you know what free will is for? In this case, it's the ability to decide for oneself whether they feel like posting their opinion or not.
