I think Kenobi is the only one I would say isn't Star Wars-y, ironically.I'm enjoying this - along with Ahsoka and the early seasons of Mando, this works for me. It's authentically Star Wars-y.
Not something I'd say about the other shows.

Fett was just...low wattage SW and Mando went downhill.I think Kenobi is the only one I would say isn't Star Wars-y, ironically.
I enjoyed BoBF although it suffered due to COVID restrictions and stuff.Fett was just...low wattage SW and Mando went downhill.
I hate Andor to the extent that it's the only live action SW project that I have not completed. And, if I can keep my completeness impulse under control, probably won't.
Absolutely.I enjoyed BoBF although it suffered due to COVID restrictions and stuff.
I freaking love Andor, it's a slow burn policial drama/thriller but it's so well done.
different strokes etc.
Mando just become a vehicle for Filoni to produce spin offs. The last season should have been called Book of Bo Katan.Fett was just...low wattage SW and Mando went downhill.

There absolutely should be involvement by the Council at some point.I am curious if the story will stay relatively small scale/low stakes as is, or become big enough to at least warrant the involvement of the High Council, so a cameo by a slightly younger Yoda would be possible.
Or has Yoda not been on the council at a young age of 750-ish?
Well she is Mandalorian...

And that's why I loved season 3.Mando just become a vehicle for Filoni to produce spin offs. The last season should have been called Book of Bo Katan.
I found anything to do with the legacy characters or cartoon characters to be very tedious. Had no interest in Boba, Bo or Ashoka as characters. And that's why I loved season 3.
Oh definitely, there is no doubt in my mind that something hinky went down on Brendok and that's how they ended up in this situation. Something happened that they clearly didn't want getting out, or they wouldn't have lied about Mae dying. At first I thought maybe the Jedi thought she was dead, but their reactions seemed to be more a "oh, so she finally showed up", than a "holy shit, she's alive", so they've definitely known she was alive this whole time.It seems pretty clear that at least three, if not all four, of the Jedi who were on Brendok either outright lied about or otherwise obfuscated the details about what happened on the planet to Osha and her family, and that their actions are linked to why Mae is killing them.
Lesley Headland has already said we won't be seeing Yoda, or any other major characters in The Acolyte.I am curious if the story will stay relatively small scale/low stakes as is, or become big enough to at least warrant the involvement of the High Council, so a cameo by a slightly younger Yoda would be possible.

Yeah, she definitely seems to be pretty high up in the Order at this point. There probably already is, because there's a strong implication that Vernestra is a member of the Council at this point in time.

Hard to see how “started a fire and accidentally killed some people” gets to “better to isolate myself for ten years and drink poison than to confess my crime.” There has to be more to it than that.@JD My speculation about what happened on Brendok is that the four Jedi who were present there had some kind of involvement in the starting of the fire that Osha (and likely Mae also) believed killed her (their) family members and that that involvement was covered up.
That would explain why Mae is pissed off at all four of them and also why Torbin willingly poisoned himself in front of her.
