I love that they seem to be taking more a wuxia martial arts approach to the fight scenes in this.

The fighting does look kind of on the slow side in the trailers I've seen.

Looks slower but good to follow, as well as the simple fact that the relationships that are established might require a different combat approach.

It definitely looks like they have the action down, hopefully they've put as much work into the story.

It's Lesley Headland, and based on what I've heard about Russian Doll, which I haven't gotten around to watching myself so this is secondhand, that shouldn't be a concern.

Without knowing anything about the show, when she was announced, I was very excited for it because I love Russian Doll so much. Everything else since then has been bonus.

So what time is it out? Ads say the 4th but Disney Plus itself say the 5th.
I assumed it would be out at 8am BST later today

It is possible. They said there are no Easter Eggs for the Disney canon in the show but there are some EU ones.

So it’s June 4th and it’s not out. Those ads lied to me.

6pm today for U.S. streamers according to the banner ad that's on Disney+ at the moment.

Well that’s just confusing for us in the uk. The ads say June 4th but that’s 2am on the 5th.

Watched the first two episodes. VERY pleased! I really dug the show a lot. An intriguing mystery, characters that are instantly compelling. Solid world building. The writing is economical, but effective. And the action sequences (though there aren't all that many) really sing.

All of the familiar elements from the SW canon are given a fresh coat of paint. The ships and locations, like the series itself, doesn't go out of its way to evoke or reference things we've seen before, but everything feels of a piece with the galaxy we know and love.

And I absolutely loved watching a piece of SW content without a single familiar face anywhere in the mix.

I was immediately hooked and I can't wait to watch this series unfold.
