This gal still seriously creeps me out.

John Henry? Someone's been playing Fallout 3. Maybe they should spend a little less time playing games and more time writing television shows.

You are making Skynet angry.

There are far more instances of the name John Henry other than Fallout 3.

Where is Aslov when you need him?

Ok I was going with average up until the final scene. That kicked it up to above average.

Well, I guess I'm justified in not liking Jesse or Riley. I was not expecting that twist.

An intriguing episode; I can see the various plot threads of the season coming together but there's still plenty of mystery. I'm curious if the "out of touch" future John is the result of an alternate timeline from which Jesse was sent back. The episode also was good at maintaining continuity, referencing T3 with the Air Force AI angle and T2 with Sarah's batshit crazy moment after she learned she was played.

Cameron looked like Lara Croft in the black dress with two handguns. I approve.

And the ending of the episode was definitely creeptastic. In fact, Manson's "novice" acting skills give her character an unnerving quality. I think it works quite well, as does the new coiffure. :)

I'm really starting to think that Terminator has the longest episode titles of any TV series ever.

"For the World Is Hollow And I Have Touched the Sky" is still the winner, though. ;)

^ Actually the AI reference involving the Air Force is from season one. Referencing Queen's Gambit.

We have also seen in Dungeon's and Dragons that John was deferring more and more to the machines through the dialogue of Colonel Perry.

True, though I wonder if it was originally done to be a T3 tie-in.

As for Riley, I'm guessing she's been working with Jesse for a while (with some weird dynamics to their relationship) but only just now learned of the future war given her bona fide breakdown in her foster parents' house.

Riley is from the future.

Riley is from the future.

Confirmed or restated speculation from earlier in the thread? If true, that stirs the pot a bit. :)

So, the shyster start-up owner mentioned to Sarah that his wife died in 1984. Coincidence?

Re: Terminator-210 "Strange Things Happen at the One Two Point" - D/G-

^ Confirmed from what I've been hearing.

Re: Terminator-210 "Strange Things Happen at the One Two Point" - D/G-

Riley being from the future seems unlikely. Why doesn't Derek know her? Does everyone and their uncle have a TDE? Where are her scars or hardened attitude?

I don't know behind the scenes stuff that well, but it makes more sense for her to be someone from the present who is just being manipulated.

Re: Terminator-210 "Strange Things Happen at the One Two Point" - D/G-

^ She could be from an alternate timeline.
