The first is very kaleidoscope-like, while the second evokes a pattern that would be on fabric for clothing to me.

Thank You! Yes, it is Kaleidoscopic. I do many like that. I make a lot of fractal art. The bottom is derived from a painting I did in 1987. I paint these on paper, then scan the image into the computer and continue to work on them digitally. My skills at that are more advanced than my ship making. I only know how to do fairly simple sketch up models. I never learned the programs that can help them become more like the photo realistic space ship designs I have seen.

The forward habitat module of the Moonlight does have some similarity to the Starbird. If the Moonlight had a shuttle or excursion craft of some kind, it could look like the Starbird.

I spent alot of time on this. Creating extensive interiors and exteriors for the Spacematic, the small starship of Cyrano Jones. I deleted the weird over sized engine nozzle from the rear of the ship and replaced them with warp nacelles. A versatile economy model ship with versions for for family RVing, planetary survey and other uses. I imagine that Cyrano lives in the ship, and uses it for survey and small cargoes. Here is a beauty shot in orbit. Below that is an interior shot showing forward cockpit/sleeping area, followed by the cargo/workspace/galley/bathroom area, and finally the rear engineering compartment with small warp core.
