Surely something good happened to you today

Got to say hi to some of the horses from my bike rides that I haven't seen months, including one of my favorites, who's super friendly and has even given me hugs a few times.

It wasn't something good that happpened to me, but I did do something good, I donated to some of my favorite animal sanctuaries for Giving Tuesday today.

As a long time desert dwelling I must ask that is this snow you speak of? I think I have vague memories of something with that name, but it's been so long I don't remember it.

In all honestly, we actually have gotten snow here 2 or 3 times in the 20+ years I've lived in Arizona, but it was a tiny bit and I don't think it even reached the ground.

I think I might have another new dream vacation now.
I was almost 20 minutes later than normal finishing my bike ride this morning, because I spent so much time with one of the ladies at the riding club and her horse. This is a different lady than I used to visit with before, but she's also really nice and her horse is really cool. He was very disappointed when he checked both of my hands and realized I didn't have any treats for him. It really is a very unusual sensation when they start rubbing their lips on your hands.

For Sunday: Got a snow blower, assembled it and managed to blow out some snow. Given that we are dealing with knee deep snow for me in some places this is a necessary thing this winter.
