Surely something good happened to you today

I got a free oil change this afternoon. Went to get my fluid checked and topped off, and the guy under my car drained the fresh oil they had just put in my car. Took almost an hour, and they threw coupons and stuff at me after, and apologized a lot about it.

 

I was able to quickly get my car inspected today and mailed off my payment to the NCDMV to get my tag. Now I won't have to go through the pain of standing in an interminable line at the local DMV!

 

I have no idea what you're refering to, but I'm happy you are happy. I've learned how to turn standing in line into a meditative and reflective experience, but I like to avoid it where possible.

I can only imagine...

We finally got rain! October for our area and no rain for so long, now rain! So happy!

 

Me, too! We got a really good rain on Friday. It was VERY badly needed. I hope we get another soaking rain soak. This whole year, we've been in drought.

 

Ever since my basement flooded a year ago, rain scares the living out of me.

 

Received a nice box of meals from Magic Kitchen. My daughter sends them from time to time.

 

I got someone else's glasses fixed without either them or myself having to pay for it.

 

Went to see my ENT doctor yesterday with a plugged-up right ear. Turns out I had a fungal infection and she just vacuumed it all out. She said the fungus was sitting on the dead skin layer and hadn't penetrated any deeper, so I don't need any topical antifungal medication.

 

Just finished a 45 minute catch up phone call with my mum.

 

Safely drove the snow.
