Today has actually been the day from hell
So basically nothing good happened

Won pub trivia last night

so i was falling down one of those internet google rabbit holes
searching for random stuff that popped in my mind, and then i saw another thing
and i googled that thing, and then another, and then, and then etc....

suddenly i was deep in the mushroom kingdom reading about spores and stuff,
and then... i read that some mushrooms reproduced sexually... what?... they what??

yeah, not only by asexual mitotic spores, but with sexual meiotic spores or something..
and that there are homothallic and heterothallic fungi and the first of these manage to "spore them self"
and that the heterohallic fungi needs a partner to reproduce..

i mean, these things eat meat and breath in air and out carbon dioxide, just like us
and then somewhere i read that they have sexual organs???....

so i started a google image search, .... fungus genital organs
as i was about to hit enter... i froze.... wait a minute....
Do i really want to search for fungus genital organs?? NOOOOOOOO...

I very carefully hit backspace until i was saved... wow dodged a bullet there!

The rain held off until I got my load of cardboard to the recycling center.

After two days the rain stopped today, so we were able to take the dogs on a longer walk, and I was finally able to get back out on my bike for the first time since Saturday.

It turns out that my kidneys may not be pooping out on me after all.

My son gassed up my car for $3.19/gal. When we drove back by that station a little later, the sign was $3.29/gal. Whoo! Good thing we didn't wait.

Yesterday, I got a new "elbow" for my CPAP gear - locally! - without needing to deal with Amazon. The "elbow" is the part that connects the mask to the hose.

I almost didn't go on my bike ride this morning since it was cold out, but I'm glad I did since I got to pet and say hi to a bunch of my horse friends.

Ran into a neighbor at the grocery store today. Haven't seen him since I retired, so it was nice to catch up on what our kids have been doing.

Spending a quite day at the house with the cat. It is nice to have sometime to myself and just get somethings done.

My youngest granddaughter is 8 years old today and we had a great time celebrating.

My mom and I found a nice new walk to add to our regular walk/hike routes.
