Got an hour nap that I really, really needed. Junior kept me company.
This didn't happen to me specifically but it is a reminder that in order to find the good in the world we need to look for it. Turkey, sadly, experienced a devastating earthquake that has killed thousands, and destroyed a lot of property. What is good in that? Well, Israel is sending aid to a Muslim country. The US and Russia are sending aid to help. I hate that the tragedy had to happen to do it but it's beautiful to see normally opposing sides working together.

Got my new downstairs router set up. Now my whole house is wired for ethernet!

I found I’ve lost ten pounds in the last four days. While I do not recommend the Norovirus for weight loss, I will take good things as I can get them.
Well I went and babysit on Wednesday night so my sisters could go out and because I do afternoon I took the day off work, then this morning I was heading to work and my Thursday shift got cancelled was like "YES!" So now I have to work Friday but I was hoping that got cancelled and I could have 5 day weekend. I'm casual so I don't get paid if I don't work but as I say to other people, when I was fulltime I used to take a holiday every three months anyway and I don't normally take time off as a casual so if it comes up I ain't complaining.
I got to go for a walk with Friends. Even though it was pouring rain, it was still fun.
All my lab work numbers are good.

I received a 512 GB micro SD card today so I can really stuff my Kindle with books and magazines, etc.
Sun came out. It was snowing earlier but at least it's sunny.
